Chartruese has an even longer history than that of American Whiskey, easily recognized when tasting the complex, herbal notes in its formula. Add a splash of Angel’s Envy, a few drops of bitters, balanced with vermouth and you’ll feel like your imbibing in the days gone by.

ingredients
  • 1 oz ANGEL'S ENVY Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels
  • 1 oz Noilly Prat® Sweet Vermouth
  • 1 oz Green Chartreuse®
  • 2 dashes Peychaud's® bitters
directions
  • Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice.
  • Stir for 25 seconds.
  • Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  • Express lemon oil on top of drink and discard lemon peel.
