Classic Cocktail with a Twist

Nobody really knows who made the first Manhattan, but thanks to the name, we’ve got a good guess on where it came from. A cocktail cornerstone, this bourbon-forward beverage has been iterated upon for years. But as a toast to its original inception, we recommend the recipe below.

Manhattan

ingredients
  • 2 oz ANGEL'S ENVY Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels
  • 1 oz Noilly Prat® Sweet Vermouth
  • 2-3 dashes Angostura® bitters to taste
directions
  • Add all ingredients into a mixing glass and fill with ice.
  • Stir for 20-25 seconds to dilute.
  • Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  • Garnish with a cherry.
Try an orange or lemon peel to garnish instead of a cherry.
