Classic Cocktail with a Twist
Barrel Aged Boulevardier
Equal parts and equally elegant, this riff on the classic Negroni subbing out gin for Bourbon, gets a softer easy finish after mellowing in a barrel.

Barrel Aged Boulevardier
ingredients
- 1
bottle ANGEL'S ENVY Bourbon finished in port wine barrels - 1
bottle Noilly Prat® sweet vermouth - 1
bottle Aperol® - 40
dashes orange bitters -
Orange peel garnish
directions
- Age for 30 days in a 5 liter barrel.
- Pour 2 oz of the aged cocktail into a mixing glass full of ice. Stir for a full minute.
- Strain into an old fashioned glass with a single large ice cube.
- Garnish with a large orange peel.
- Try swapping out the Aperol for Martini Fiearo for more of an orange influence.
