Ways to Enjoy a Gold Rush Drink

Your Gold Rush cocktail should be a vibrant gold color (hence the name) and clear, not cloudy. You should be able to smell the vanilla and maple notes from the ANGEL’S ENVY bourbon finished in Port wine barrels, alongside the sweet honey aroma and subtle citrus from the lemon garnish. A Gold Rush bourbon drink will have a rich sweet taste from the honey, combined with the smooth warmth of the bourbon.

How to serve a Gold Rush

There’s a diverse range of flavors you can pair your Gold Rush cocktail with from spicy snacks like roasted nuts or mild cheese and cured meats to contrast the sweetness, you can also opt for citrus or honey-based desserts to complement the flavors in the drink.

A Gold Rush should be served in a rock’s glass, which is short and wide, perfect for the ice and quantity of liquid.

If you like this cocktail, you must try the Whiskey Sour by replacing the honey with sugar.
