A native of Colorado, Brett graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business Management in 2002, having studied at University of London and Metropolitan State College. But he’s an old hand when it comes to bartending. He got his first job 22 years ago, when he lucked into a position at an old prohibition bar that specialized in classic cocktails. In spite of his studies, he never lost his love of life behind the stick.
It’s amazing to see those old classic cocktails emerging again and all the dated trends falling by the wayside.
“I love that the business is constantly growing and changing for the better. It’s amazing to see those old classic cocktails emerging again and all the dated trends falling by the wayside.” He remembers the first time he tried ANGEL’S ENVY. “I was approached by another guardian out of San Francisco and I thought it was an amazing product. I love the history and the fact that it’s such a high-quality spirit!”
When asked about his life outside of work, he first mentions his two amazing sons that take up a good amount of his time. But he likes to keep active when he can with Brazilian jujitsu and snowboarding in the winter. In the summer, he tries to spend as much time outside as possible, and he also enjoys working on old cars and motorcycles. Keep an eye out for Brett at Angel’s Envy events around Denver, and if you see him, be sure to ask about his favorite classic cocktails.
