Craftsmanship

Bourbon blended
through time

This expression began its evolution as Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey distilled between 2014 and 2019. Using the Solera-inspired process, each year’s blend is layered into an ongoing system to create continuity and depth across releases.

After blending, the bourbon is double matured for up to 3.5 years in hand-selected port wine barrels, enriching flavors while preserving the integrity of the award-winning base whiskey.

Tasting notes

Our port finish
at its finest

Serve neat to experience its full character. Add a few drops of water to reveal a more robust tasting experience.

  • Nose

Cherry cordial and salted caramel fade into sweetly spiced oak.

  • Palate

Rich, weighty, and smoothly layered. Juicy apple cider and robust red wine notes rounded off by creamy ganache.

  • Finish

Structured oak tannins enfold citrus preserves and jammy dark chocolate. Elegant and pleasantly dry.

what is our Solera-inspired Process?

By building on the spirit of the solera tradition, each Cask Strength release carries a trace of the one before it. Each year, Angel’s Envy blends roughly 120 barrels, bottling about 100 while holding back a portion to shape the following year’s blend. That reserved whiskey becomes the foundation for the next release, allowing mature bourbon from previous years to continue influencing the liquid.

The result is a more layered tasting experience, balancing the character of each year’s barrels with the depth created by those that came before.
