A BRIDGE BETWEEN BARRELS

The robust oak and toffee from this 2016 bourbon deftly marries with our hallmark Ruby Port characters. The addition of Tawny Port-finished bourbon provided the nutty, caramelized fruit character to act as a bridge between the two flavor profiles. By balancing the bright red berry acidity with the brooding sweetness of dried fruit, it introduced a fresh dimension to the Angel’s Envy Cask Strength series. The 13th Edition remains a coveted expression among collectors.

With a burnished amber hue, the blend of Ruby and Tawny Port Wine barrels brings a nuanced flavor profile that can be enjoyed neat or over a large ice cube.


  • NOSE

    Caramelized notes of brown sugar and butterscotch open up into stone fruit, pear, and spice.

  • PALATE

    Crisp apple crumble and buttery pie crust balance darker notes of chocolate, oak, and cinnamon honey. Both nutty and floral.

  • FINISH

    Pleasant and long. Oak tannins mingle with rich port and bright fruits to deliver a sweet and spiced finale.
