Long before Angel’s Envy called 500 East Main Street home, this building sat vacant for nearly 40 years. In 2013, a three-year restoration began to give the historic building a new life. In 2016, Angel’s Envy Distillery opened its doors, helping usher in a new era of bourbon in downtown Louisville.
Over the past 10 years, we’ve had the privilege of watching our distillery and Louisville’s bourbon culture grow together. To every guest who has walked through our doors, every neighbor who has welcomed us, and every team member who has distilled our whiskey, filled our bottles, or shared a story on a tour or over a cocktail: thank you!
We’re proud to have called downtown Louisville our home for the past decade and look forward to welcoming guests for many more years to come.

Relive the first decade of our downtown Louisville distillery through a curated tasting of our most coveted pours: 10-year-old bourbon from one of the first barrels ever filled at our distillery in 2016, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Japanese Mizunara Oak Casks, Straight Rye Whiskey Finished in Ice Cider Casks, and more.
