Originally from Rochester, Becca graduated from The Boston Conservatory in Musical Theatre. Initially, she began working in hospitality to help her pay for school, starting as a hostess and eventually bartending. After school, she moved to New York City, and the longer she spent in the hospitality industry, the more she fell in love with it. She decided to start pursuing it as a career instead of a side job.

Becca explains what it is she enjoys about the work, “My favorite part about the hospitality industry is exactly that—the hospitality aspect. I’ve always loved hosting parties and making sure everyone leaves happy. I love introducing people to new flavors they’ve never had before, and turning someone’s bad day into a fantastic experience. I’ve also found that the hospitality industry is made up of some truly wonderful people. This community has been so supportive, and I am eternally grateful for both the old and new friendships I’ve gained.”

She still remembers the first time she tried Angel’s Envy, “While working at a steakhouse in NYC four years ago, I was introduced to Angel’s Envy in a staff tasting. I had just started drinking more whiskey, and immediately fell in love with Angel’s Envy bourbon. It was an instant favorite of mine to sell, and to drink myself. It still is.”

When she’s not behind the bar or representing Angel’s Envy, Becca likes to take advantage of her city’s culture. “In my free time, I enjoy supporting the arts, and try to make it to a live performance at least once a month. I particularly love going to the theatre and the ballet. I’ve also recently fallen in love with travel. I love going to new places and experiencing new cultures. Growing up with two brothers—one which designs them for a living—I have also acquired a special appreciation of video games.” Look for Becca at Angel’s Envy events around New York City and be sure to say hi!
