Who We Are

Lincoln Henderson  Master Distiller (Master Malcontent)
Few men can claim the status “Living Legend.” Lincoln Henderson is such a man — Wine and Spirits Magazine said so. One of the world’s leading spirits experts, Mr. Henderson was an inaugural member of the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame and holds a judge’s seat at the UK International Wine and Spirit Competition. During his 40-year tenure as Master Distiller at Brown-Forman Corporation, he honed his skills while developing brands such as Woodford Reserve, Jack Daniels’s “Gentleman Jack” and Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel. In addition to exploratory product development, he also oversaw quality control, technical distillery supervision and sensory evaluation. In recognition of his work, he was prematurely awarded Malt Advocate’s Lifetime Achievement Award — they had yet to taste Angel’s Envy. He lives with his wife in Lexington, Kentucky. They have two children and ten grandchildren.

Kyle Henderson  Process and Bottling Manager
The youngest member of the family business, Kyle Henderson is every bit as dedicated to Angel’s Envy as the first two generations. In addition to finishing his Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry at the University of Louisville, he currently works as Angel’s Envy’s Processing and Bottling Manager. In his spare time, he serves as Kentucky’s Guardian, promoting the spirit throughout its home state. Kyle is ambitious, a quick study and eager to learn from his family’s lifetime of bourbon experience.
While processing and bottling Angel’s Envy, it’s Kyle’s responsibility to taste each batch to ensure flavor, monitor the port finishing, bottle each batch and uphold Lincoln’s standard of quality. While Kyle is ambitious, he’s also humble and appreciates the opportunity to learn on the job with Lincoln and Wes. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting Angel’s Envy, you’ll know that Kyle is doing an excellent job.

Wesley Henderson  COO
Crafting a heavenly bourbon requires the serious management of a man who seriously knows his bourbon. Presiding over every aspect of the company’s production and operations, Wesley Henderson makes Angel’s Envy a reality. Before the opportunity to partner with his father, he served as president and COO of Master Distiller Select. Prior to that, Mr. Henderson was president and CEO of Conecuh Ridge Distillery. If you’re a whiskey fan, you might remember Conecuh Ridge from its front-page exposure in the Wall Street Journal or its appearance on Saturday Night Live. It’s not a big deal — the government only legislated Conecuh Ridge Whiskey as the Official State Spirit of Alabama. An active member of the American Distilling Institute, Mr. Henderson is also a FAA certified pilot. Married with six children, he and his wife live in the Louisville area.

Samira Seiller  EVP & Managing Director
While angels may envy, the people must be told. Samira Seiller is the voice of Angel’s Envy, guiding the company’s brand strategy through sales, marketing and PR initiatives. Before bringing her 18 years of experience to Angel’s Envy, she led the U.S. Whiskey Division of Beam Global, which includes the Jim Beam Family, Maker’s Mark, the Small Batch Collection and Scotch. She managed portfolio strategy, brand planning, strategic sales and agency relations not only for the Jim Beam Family, but also Maker’s Mark, Canadian Club, Knob Creek, the Small Batch Bourbon Collection and more. Prior to that, she managed 19 brands while serving as regional marketing director at Brown-Forman Midwest. Based in Chicago, she is widely known and well-regarded as the “WhiskeyChick.” For more information on Angel’s Envy, please contact Samira

Mark Boweak  Whiskey Guardian Director East
East Guardian Director is a big job. It represents an enormous territory with massive and diverse markets. So Angel’s Envy is pleased to announce that Mark Boweak will be taking the lead in the east. With over 20 years of experience, Mark’s an industry veteran and a welcome addition to our team. Over the course of his career, he’s played a variety of different roles, most recently as Sales Manager. Before that, he served as a Key Account Executive and Regional Director of Marketing, working with clients like Brown-Forman. With a proven history of excellence, we’re excited that Mark is bringing his leadership to Angel’s Envy.
Mark’s kind of a man’s man, which is a pretty good fit when you work with bourbon. He’s a serious sports fan — all of them. He didn’t exactly identify himself as a motorcycle enthusiast, he just said, “Harley Davidson.” But it’s not all hard living. The first thing Mark will tell you about himself is that he’s a family man. A driven competitor, he’s currently training for Ironman Cozumel, which is not his first Triathlon. We’re happy to have Mark on our side.

Steve Cole  Whiskey Guardian Director West
As Angel’s Envy expands to new markets and Guardians increasingly represent the brand in cities around the world, one person must unite them all. Steve Cole is the best man for the job. Once known as Master of Whiskey and (the) Whiskey Professor, Steve joined Angel’s Envy as the Director of Whiskey Guardians. Under his watch, the Guardians’ voice, presence and message for the brand is both bold, yet approachable. As a special events manager and bartender in Chicago, Steve spent years spreading the gospel of bourbon. At Angel’s Envy, he’s found his one true faith. A proud native of Chicago, Steve is now based in San Diego. From there, he spreads the word of Angel’s Envy across the country.
