Whiskey Guardian Bio: Baker Hoffman

One time, Baker and his friends had to push an out-of-gas RV up an interstate ramp and coast down a hill and all the way to a gas station. There’s no real metaphor here, that’s just the kind of guy Baker is. He’s toured around the country playing music, worked in kitchens and put out nearly 100 records as a dance music producer. Eventually, his rich and interesting life landed him behind a bar, and the rest is history. To be fair, he’s only worked at a handful of establishments over the years. He’s a loyal guy.

And speaking of loyalty, Baker’s been a fan of Lincoln Henderson for years. As an individual who likes to push the envelope, Baker was very excited when Lincoln released Angel’s Envy. In his words, “It’s unlike anything else on the market — a couple of ice cubes, and your first sip, you’re like, this is whiskey to me. This is the future. It’s got the whole technique from Lincoln, but he’s pushing the envelope.” So it was only natural he’d end up representing the brand in Tennessee.

Currently, you can find him behind the bar at The Urban Grub, or any Angel’s Envy event throughout Tennessee. When he’s not spreading Angel’s Envy throughout his fair state, he enjoys spending time with his wife, listening to music and enjoying a little Angel’s Envy on the rocks.
