Jason Fackler came from Ohio, but he didn’t end up there. He chose a sunnier path. With a degree in History from Miami of Oxford, Jason developed a keen appreciation for the subject, so it’s no surprise that you can find him most nights managing bar at The Mandarin Hide. It’s the sort of cocktail haunt that calls to mind a grander age — fine suits, sparkling gowns and the sort of stories you didn’t hear about Grandpa until after he died – the good ones.
When not holding court at The Mandarin, Jason spends his days appreciating Florida as only a man from a landlocked state can. He cycles, follows most sports, appreciates good music and literature, but mixology is one of his true interests. He enjoys the science of finding the precise formula for triggering delight with his newest concoction. If you find yourself down in St. Petersburg, seek him out. Try one of his drinks.

3 Dashes Black Walnut Bitters
